Opportunities for Artists
Now in its 7th year the BAMM Portrait Prize is a $7,500 prize for excellence in portrait painting. Entries are invited from artists across Australia at all stages in their career. The finalist exhibition will be selected from the entrants.
The BAMM Regional Art Fair celebrates the exceptional talent of regional artists from across Australia. BRAF invites works across a range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, screen, textiles, and photography. It provides a platform to showcase the depth of creative practice that thrives in regional communities.
Opportunities for Regional Artists
The BAMM Art Fair is dedicated to showcasing the creativity and talent of regional artists. In 2025, there are two exciting ways to participate:
Micro Exhibitions: Five artists will be selected through an Expression of Interest (EOI) process to present a focused body of work in dedicated BAMM gallery spaces. These micro exhibitions provide a unique opportunity for in-depth exploration of the theme.
Main Gallery Exhibition: Regional artists are invited to submit works in painting, sculpture, video, or photography for inclusion in a curated group exhibition in BAMM’s main gallery. This diverse showcase celebrates the depth and breadth of artistic practice across the region.

BAMM’s exhibition program is thoughtfully curated, offering artists the chance to be part of a dynamic cultural space. Throughout the year, we welcome expressions of interest from artists for micro exhibitions as part of the BAMM Regional Art Fair and for residency opportunities.
